What problem is most frustrating for you right now? Most of us encounter problems every single day. If we’re not intentional, it can be easy to slip into a habit of putting more energy into complaining about problems than solving them. If it’s at work, you might rehash it with coworkers, point fingers of blame or wallow in self-pity about the fact that you have the problem. At home, you might spend a lot of energy fussing with a loved one for the problem they caused, making sure they see how it’s affecting you and being irritated.
But at some point, it’s essential to make a shift and ask this PQ (powerful question):
What can I do to resolve this problem, or at least reduce the impact of it?
When you move from focusing on the problem to focusing on a solution, you shift to a more powerful mood and mindset – one that reminds you that you have the power to choose your response to the challenges that come your way.
