I had a distinct feeling a year ago that 2013 would be my best year yet – and it was! I enter 2014 happier than I’ve ever been, with my bestselling year to date, and MY MARRIAGE this week to the man God made just for me and me for him! If you doubt your dreams can come true, let me just remind you that if you believe (and hang in there!), God will do amazing things in your life! Thanks for all your prayers and encouragement in recent years – every one of you bless me and keep me motivated to keep writing and inspiring you!
As I embark on this new season of life as a wife and “bonus mom,” as my two adorable new “bonus daughters” like to call me, I look for lessons – both for myself and to share with you. One of my biggest lessons is this: Hope is the essence of big dreams. And hope takes courage. As you enter this New Year, I want to encourage you to prayerfully consider the areas in which you need to renew your hope and be bold in the vision you set for yourself. It is so easy to look at current circumstances, entertain your doubts and become discouraged. But the most successful people are the ones who are courageous enough to maintain hope.
Don’t settle for less than the desires that God has placed in your heart. When you stop hoping, you start settling. Be bold. Be courageous. Be patient. And see your faith unfold in divine timing.
My challenge to you this week:
Renew your hope, even if it feels scary. Don’t settle.
Journaling assignment:
What is it time to hope for? Write it vividly and clearly. Push through your fear and believe!
